Introduction to Watercolor at Shelby Farms
In April, Kathryn taught the adult painting series, Introduction to Watercolor, at Shelby Farms Park. The series marked yet another successful Arts in the Park event. Students painted en plein air, learned watercolor techniques, and completed several paintings. More classes will be offered in the coming months.
Brookdale Invites Kathryn On As Art Teacher
Brookdale Senior Living Germantown has invited Kathryn to join their community as a monthly Art Teacher for residents. She is excited to develop relationships and present residents with exciting art learning opportunities.

Kathryn Partners With Shelby Farms Park
Kathryn recently partnered with Shelby Farms Park Conservancy as artist for their new Arts in the Park program. She will participate in a number of social events, classes and camps for youth and adults. Arts in the Park is an exciting new program providing the community a fantastic way to learn and grow through art at the Park.
Christmas Art Project For Shelby Farms

Kathryn Ikle As Guest Artist At The Germantown Community Library
Youth ages 5-10 joined Kathryn Dec 2 at the Germantown Community Library for a free art event called Friday Frenzy. Students had a blast making snow globe ornaments to take home with them! View photos on Kathryn's Facebook page.

Ikle At The Met Museum
The Ikle family has donated thousands of textiles and art pieces to museums all over the United States and Europe. View a William Baziotes painting donated from the Ikle collection. It is currently on exhibit at The Met Museum in NY, and can be found next to wall-mate, Jackson Pollock.
